Based on the outstanding success of the NOVA 15 series of inrunner BLDC motors, the new NOVA Maritime Series has been specifically developed for the most demanding applications in the maritime/marine industries.

It features an extra rugged closed housing design with ingress protection of IP 67. All materials have been selected for highest resistance against seawater corrosion. For deep sea applications, oil fillable versions are available.

Plettenberg tailors each NOVA Maritime motor to ideally match the load profile of the customer. It can also be provided as integrated propulsion unit, with ESC as well as capacitor banks integrated inside the housing.
