NOVA 4 is an inrunner BLDC motor for high performance applications with up to 4 kW of power. The motor has best in class power-to-weight ratio and is very suitable for UAVs and other applications with constraints in space, weight and power supply. The motor comes with IP 54 protection class as standard and can be adjusted to higher protection class on request. Given the closed design, the motor is very robust and ideal for application in harsh environments.

The NOVA 4 is available as COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) version in various standard configurations. Please refer to the COTS datasheets under resources (below) for more information.

The motor can also be provided as MOTS (modified-off-the-shelf) or as FC (fully custom) version. The MOTS version is provided with custom winding, while FC versions can be highly tailored according to requirements (e.g. tailored housing and shaft, changed number of poles, custom cooling system, added redundancy, higher IP rating, etc.).
