NOVA 4

The NOVA 4 is from our family of super rugged inrunner BLDC motors and has been specifically designed for mission critical applications, including UAS, aerospace and racing.

The rugged closed housing with IP 54 in standard (higher possible) allows for use in the harshest environmental conditions, such as desert, snow and maritime missions. Compared to open outrunner BLDC motors, it offers extended MTBS/F with significantly reduced total cost of ownership. At the same time, the motor has been designed to be extremely light.

The NOVA 4 is available as COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) version in various standard configurations. Detailed data sheets on all COTS versions are available for download below.

The motor can also be provided as MOTS (modified-off-the-shelf) or as FC (fully custom) version. The MOTS version is provided with custom winding, while FC versions can be highly tailored according to requirements (e.g. tailored housing and shaft, custom cooling system, added redundancy, higher IP rating, MIL-STD, etc.).
